Submission Guidelines

OW News considers poetry
submissions only. All submissions must be original,
unpublished work. Submit a maximum
of 2 poems per issue. We accept submissions all year round.
You will be notified by email if your poems are selected.

What we Like: We want to read
poems that deal with people; their interactions, their loves, and their
dilemmas. We want to read about situations and events described with a unique
perspective, and that inspires and provides healing. We want to read poems
that challenge ideas/reality and create a new existence.

Deadline: Submission
deadline is the 20th of each month.

How to Submit: Send
your bio (50 words or less) and your poems to ownews@theagebegins.com. Include your name,
email address and the title of poems in your coverletter. Please put "OW
News Submission" in the subject line. All
submissions must be within the body of the email. Multiple poetry submissions
to other publications is okay. However if your poem is accepted,
please notify us immediately by email.

Rights: OW News
acquires First North American Serial Rights as well as First Internet
Rights. These rights revert to the author upon first publication of the issue
in which the materials appear.
